Subtitles Make Things Easier

Watching foreign movies or shows without subtitles can be tuff. Dooflix offers subtitle support but sometimes it stops working or does not show up. Don’t worry there are simple ways to fix it and enjoy your stream with subtitles again.

Subtitle Option Not Enabled

  • Sometimes users forget to enable the subtitle manually
  • While watching a video tap the gear icon or subtitle option
  • Make sure to select the langauge you want like English Hindi etc
  • If OFF is selected subtitles will not appear

File Has No Subtitles

  • Not all videos on Dooflix come with subtitle support
  • Specially older or regional content may not have built-in subs
  • Try switching to another server or link of same video
  • That might solve the issue

Clear Cache of Dooflix App

  • Old cache files can break subtitle settings
  • Go to Settings > Apps > Dooflix > Storage
  • Click Clear Cache then reopen the app
  • Now try subtitles again

Use External Video Player

  • Use MX Player or VLC Player with Dooflix
  • These players have better subtitle settings
  • You can even add external subtitle file if needed
  • Just make sure you allow Dooflix to use external player in settings

Update the App

  • Old versions may have subtitle bugs
  • Always download latest version of Dooflix
  • Updates fix bugs and bring better compatibility for subtitles
